Areni Wine Festival, 3d of October, 2015, Areni
“ARENI” FEST” Foundation together with Areni village Administration are organizing Areni Wine Festival 2015 which is an excellent chance to discover Armenia. The Festival 2015 which will take place on 3rd of October invites all wine-makers and all those who are fond of wine and Armenian culture!!!
Each year in Areni village takes place already a traditional “Areni Wine” Festival, where besides the inhabitants of the region there are also present representatives of various departments.
“Areni Wine Festival” gives a great opportunity to discover Armenia. Those who even once have taken part in Areni Wine Festival in Armenia will never forget the bright impressions. During the Areni Wine Festival you will be able to taste the best range of Armenian wines, which are very highly valued by European consumers.
The “Areni Wine Festival" opens with the bright and colourful and spectacular parade of the best wine-makers, combined with the song and dance combination.

Traditional Lavash Festival, 23rd of August, 2015, Khor Virap
It is a great chance to visit one of the famous tourist sites of Armenia, at the same time experience the baking process of the traditional Armenian bread.
In 2014, Lavash was inscribed in the Representative list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
During the event skilled lavash bakers will show you the best way of making Armenian lavash and the guests of the festival will be treated with the traditional bread and cheese. Award ceremony, traditional songs and dances, as well as traditional and national games are expected to be organized during the event. Guests will also have a chance to try traditional “Zhengyalov hats” dish which is a combination of various types of greens with dough.
The price for participation for the event is 3000 AMD which includes transportation from Yerevan (9.00 am, Yerevan State University, Alek Manukyan 1).
